Alloy 825 Chemical Injection Tubing Sandvik, a leader in high-performance materials, will highlight its latest range of products and services the Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (Adipec) 2018 next week. The company is seeing significant growth in the region following considerable investment in recent years, including the opening of its regional oil and gas headquarters in Dubai, UAE to increase the delivery of local services and products. Observing positive growth and requirements from customers, Sandvik also recently recruited a new business development manager based in Lagos, Nigeria. Ezenna Okolie joined Sandvik’s oil and gas EMEA sales team in September and is responsible for developing growth in the sub Saharan Africa region. Additionally, Sandvik will soon launch its new productivity-enhancing transportable onsite or container-based coiled tubing production unit in the Middle East. The onsite solution allows Sandvik to install equipment at the customer’s own facilities for final stage production while the container solution provides a temporary installation with equipment built within a fully mobile container. Phil Cherrie, regional sales and marketing director, Oil & Gas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), Sandvik, said: “We have secured and delivered on a number of big projects in the region, including the completion of an order to supply seamless Alloy 625 Sanicro 60 encapsulated in a dual flatpack to a large gas field project offshore Egypt in record time. This was possible due to our capacity and capability, as well as our unique competence in umbilical tubing, OCTG and control lines/chemical injection lines. It also signified the benefits of having a local presence and expertise, and we are very excited to welcome Ezenna to the team. “Our new transportable coiled tubing production solution is an example of Sandvik’s drive to deliver purposeful innovation to add value to our clients. Customers in the Middle East will soon have a perfect solution for decoiling, straightening and line marking to any lengths in remote areas. Generator operation and air conditioning make it ideal for use in desert environments.” Sandvik’s booth at ADIPEC 2018 will showcase an extended range of tube products for the upstream and downstream markets, including the oil and gas subsea sector, refineries and processing plants where high corrosion resistance is needed such as hydraulic and instrumentation, heat exchanger, and OCTG tubing, control lines and umbilicals. – TradeArabia News Service
