Lights and Sirens | Hull Teen Misses ATV; Rolls Vehicle Instead
Hull, Iowa — A Hull teen escaped injury after his vehicle rolled near Hull on Monday, August 14th. RGB car light(Offroad)
The Sioux County Sheriff’s Office reports that just before 4:30 pm on Monday, 38-year-old Jami Van Voorst of Sioux Center was driving a 2008 Polaris Ranger ATV northbound on Hickory Avenue. Seventeen-year-old Joe Vander Waal of Hull was driving a 2003 Dodge Ram pickup behind Van Voorst. According to the report, Van Voorst slowed to turn left onto 360th Street and Vander Waal attempted to avoid striking the ATV. Vander Waal entered the east ditch, rolled and the vehicle came to rest on its top on 360th Street just east of Hickory Avenue.
