For more than 40 years, Stone Island has stood at the forefront of the outerwear game — crafting bold, performance-minded jackets from an ever-growing library of cutting-edge proprietary textiles. Earlier this month, to celebrate both Frieze Seoul and Seoul Fashion Week, the legendary Italian label brought more than 70 of those innovative pieces to the South Korean capital for Selected Works_Seoul ‘982-’023: The Stone Island Archive, its largest-ever exhibition in Asia.

“Stone Island is my whole life and my passion,” Stone Island chairman Carlo Rivetti said in a statement. “When I enter our historical archive, it is a great emotion for me, because I see my whole life in the garments that Stone Island has created in 41 years of its history.”

To help bring that passion to life, Stone Island lent GQ and a set of top models the keys to the exhibit — and the rare opportunity to go hands-on with the coveted grails on display.
